Matt Menashes serves as the Executive Director of the National Estuarine Research Reserve Association (NERRA), joining us in November 2008. Before coming to NERRA, Matt was President and CEO of the Paddlesports Industry Association for eight years, where he encouraged Americans to enjoy water resources as places for recreation. From 1996 until 2001, Matt worked for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, where he worked on the designation of the Kachemak Bay NERR in Alaska, and assisted reserves in Florida, California, North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Matt's experience in estuarine and coastal management, plus his background in business development and association management makes him a great advocate for estuaries. He can be reached at matt @ nerra.org (take spaces out).
Scott G. Rocray, CPA, is NERRA's accountant. Scott is highly familiar with federal grants and cooperative agreements. As a CPA, Mr. Rocray has been involved in financial reporting to NOAA on behalf of NERRA and the Wells reserve. His 23 years of accounting experience provide NERRA the skills to provide financial oversight. 444 North Capitol Street, NW Suite 322 Washington, DC 20001 Phone: (202) 508-3836 Fax: (202) 508-3843 |
